Not saying Celina will, but I was wondering if a team has ever won the state title in one division, moved up in classification, and the next year won the state title again? Just curious.

Plano is the only school that has won it in ever classification but 1A but never won it in back to back years in different classifications.

Tatum has the opportunity to win 3A in 2005 and 2A in 2006. They'll play Marlin next so that could throw a kink in that idea though.

True. Somehow SLC managed to NOT win state in 4A....at least in football. They did beat us for the 4A title in baseball the year before moving up.

Midland Lee did it in separate divisions of 5A classification in consecutive years.
