Region II GotW (Round 3): Royse City vs Texarkana Liberty-Eylau

The 10-1 Royse City Bulldogs and 8-3 Texarkana L-E Leopards will meet this week in this Division 1 Quarterfinals game.

Royse City won a shoot-out over Kennedale 56-42 in their Regional game and L-E defeated Tyler Chapel Hill 31-20.

The Leopards will be back this week renewed both physically and mentally after the last two weeks' ups and downs. Chapel Hill gave us the fight of their lives, as we had to do the week before against Gilmer. If both RC and LE are running on all cylinders, this will be another hard-fought battle. As always, my vote goes to my Leopards, who have all the weapons, but must utilize them to the maximum in order to advance. The last three ballgames (loss to Atlanta, wins over Gilmer and T-CH) have been both character and team-building. Good luck, guys!

I seen them play Canton, Wills Point, and Emory Rains the offence is awesome the deffence is good to avg. I think they will win but it will be another high scoreing game, just my opinion.

I cant decide who to pull for in this one. I think LE will win it but I cantdecide whether to root for them since they knocked Gilmer out or to root for RC who Wylie beat on the way to their title in 04. I assume the coaching staff at RC has grown in maturity since their semi final loss to Wylie at Texas Stadium. You could tell those kids were great athletes. I can remember they had two kids that could just flat out play on defense. Will be agreat game wish I was gonna be there.

What a fantastic game. Bulldogs had driven downfield into scoring position for a final snap with 5 seconds left in the game. LE sacked their QB!!!

Great effort by both teams - that's what football is all about.
