What are the chances of this happening now that UT isn't in the BCS? Anyone know?

Doesn't the 3rd place SEC team usually play in the cotton bowl?

Florida
Arkansas
LSU

are top three right?

If LSU plays UT forget about it. Idk if there is anyone that can beat LSU right now.

I have no clue, but LSU, Arkie, and Auburn all have two conference losses. If UT winds up going, the Cotton Bowl selection committee may take Arkie or LSU over Auburn, but I'm kinda hoping Auburn comes to town.

Oh, and it's based on bids, not where the team finishes. Only the BCS Bowls have to take the winners of a conference.

Say OU finishes second in the Big XII, UT finishes third, and A&M finishes fourth. The Holiday Bowl gets the third bid and the Cotton gets the second. The Cotton actually picks who, after the conference champ, goes to their bowl. They could pick K-State, then the Holiday Bowl could pick UT.
