This games got hanging chads written all over it. We might have to have a recount after the game.:eek:

Both teams look pretty equal offensively but the defensive nod just might go to Cuero. It's gonna be fun in the dome. No wind or rain. Just those Friday night lights with two juggernauts going 100% at each other.:)

So would Brownsboro, Canton, Graham, Greenwood, Pilot Point, Snyder and Vernon.

This has got to be the most civil thread regarding a HUGE game that I have read thus far on the DL. Just goes to show that both teams/fans have a lot of class.
I will be staying on the fence with this one. Could go either way. But I hope that the Buffaloes will get the opportunity to play against either team. Still a couple of big games off though.

This is a game where I wouldn't bet on either team winning.
The only thing that I would bet on is that Wimberley will play very very well. Wimberley's coaching staff has handled nine playoff games in the past three years, and their team has simply played excellent in every one of them. Yes, even in the 2004 loss to Cuero -- Wimberley had lost three games during the regular season, yet they played toe-to-toe with the #1 team in the state that night.
I do think this is Cuero's game to win, though. Wimberley will play extremely well, but if Cuero matches that, Cuero will win. But if Cuero only plays "good," they'll lose.

I have a feeling this game will go down to the wire. Maybe even OT...
Gates open at 6 for a 7 pm game, isn't that kind of cutting it close?
I hope they have a lot of ticket booths/doors open b/c you know there will be quite a large crowd.
anybody know if there is a city pep rally in Cuero tonight? like the one before the sinton game

This game would make a very good State Championship! I would love to see this one for sure. Since I live so far away, I hope someone will keep us updated. When and where for this game???

Monday morning I told everyone at work that I was taking off at noon on Friday- Well, about 9:00 am today, I made an executive decision - to take the entire day off. I figured I wouldn't get anything done between 8 and 12 anyway. We plan on leaving about 2:15 or whenever the send-off for the boys is Mr 44inarow thinks I am totally nuts for leaving Cuero so soon but I HATE to be late. After the fiasco in 2004 at Round Rock, (even the team got there late - we're talking 6:20 for a 7:30 game) (I told myself I'd NEVER have to rush like that again ) - I am not sure what we'll do for 2+ hours while we are waiting for the doors/gates to open at the Alamodome, but I am sure I'll figure something out..... maybe park and then walk over to the Riverwalk - I can always find something to spend money on there :) - It's supposed to be a pretty day - a little "cool" for this south Texas gal - but I think I'll survive. Rita, Gobbla and Gobbler Grad have my cell # - maybe we'll have the Meet and Greet outside the Dome before the gates open. Hope everyone has a safe trip and see you'll at the game :)
