I don't believe I've ever seen a Crockett person on the board... I don't know much about them other than they are 7-4, but won 6 of the last 7, and ranked like 25th or something like that.

Based purely on my homer loyalty, I'll say LH by 14.

Crockett, now that's a team I haven't heard of in a while...

used to be a pretty heavy name back in the late 90's...

I think Crocket is much better than their record indicates. i do believe LH will take them if they play their game, but Crockett should not be taken lightly because of that 7-4 record...

I don't know much about Crockett, except that they were a "young" team last year. Remember a kid named Moye? This year, Crockett apparently handled him quite well in district, at least Crockett won the game for sure. (In all honestly, I don't know how Moye did in the game, just thought LHMom might remember him.)

Oh yes, one other thing about Crockett. Crockett and Jasper played in the very first football game I ever saw. :D Crockett lost that game, and they will probably lose this game as well. LH wins by 2 TDs. :)

BIG BLUE DEFENSIVE END

Crockett is a typical East Texas Team..Good speed and some good athletic players. They kind of run hot and cold..When they are rolling they can play with anyone, but they struggle at finding the ability to play at a top level all game.

LH should take the game pretty easily I think.

Their OC used to be the OC at Waco Connally. He went to Crockett about 3 years ago when the Cadet H/C accepted the position. He is the one that installed a wide open offense his first year at Connally as the OC. Up until his arrival. the Cadets were pretty much one-dimentional with the run and would win maybe two or three games a year. As someone else said in replying to your question, Crockett has talented athletes and being familiar with their OC, they probably run the same offense as they did at Connally. But, am still going with L.H. by 21.

After looking on numerous forums, and asking for info on Crockett on several, here's what I have learned about the two teams.

1. Liberty Hill is slow and overrated
2. Liberty Hill is fast as hell
3. Liberty Hill does not have the team speed to beat Crockett
4. Liberty Hill's schedule isn't that tough since it didn't include Robinson or La Vega  (***watching Wimberley and Cuero folks go nuts***)
5. Mart would beat both Liberty Hill and Wimberley

So, with the slow and overrated, fast as hell team that hasn't played anyone because we "won't" schedule Mart, here's my prediction (which I rarely do):

Liberty Hill - 42
Crockett - 24

LH Mom you've been on CentexFootball.com too long I think LH vs Crockett will be a good game, don't know who will win, but it will be a good game. Good luck to the Winner, it will be a hard fought game, trust me. This will be a very physical game, get the band-Aids out.
