Voting ends Wed morning. WE did things a little different this week. I have enlisted the help of 5 very noble souls to help me pick 3 nominees from each classification. After everyone turned in their picks I put them into the poll. I will leave it up to those that are part of the new process if they wish to be identified.

Gary Edwards, SR, QB , Wylie
25 carries - 184 yards (7.4 ypc), 11-17-0-132 yds
ran for 3 TDs (26, 64 & 1yd) threw for 1
316 total yards


Aston Whiteside, Vernon
23 carries 210 yards
2 TD's
23-7 win over Perryton


Bryce Williams, RB/LB, Greenwood
Offense - 25-105 yards, 3 TDs
Defense - 7 Tackles, 1 Sack, 1 Tackle for Loss

I really expected a closer race than this. There was some good nominees left out but it was done fairly and objectively. I am glad everyone isnt crying about this one like over on the Region IV thread.

yea me 2....that was my vote.....I heard some story about Wylie not getting the snap off in time or something, and decatur sent the tape to the UIL....is this just a myth?

ive heard that rumor too. but the clock was stopped before the snap because of an imcomplete pass prior to it. sooooo i really don't think its true but who knows....
