Yeah I bought it for Xbox instead of my 360. It has more options, the player models don't look retarded, and they can actually run normally on the Xbox version. If you have kind of an old Xbox though it can be kinda glitchy sometimes. That being said it's a blast and worth buying.

pos....x-cox sucks, but in 2007 the recievers catch EVERYTHING and running is harder....compared to 2006

The gameplay on the 360 is far ahead of the regular xbox version.

you must not be very good then!!!

The receivers dropped A LOT of balls in 06...so when compared to that anything is going to look like an improvement. They don't catch everything. I've played 4 different seasons.
- 2006 Tech
- 2007 Texas
- 2007 Tech (2 new freshman WR's but nothing special in terms of talent)
- 2007 Texas (Sweed went pro, brought in the #'s 1 and 4 WR recruits).

With Tech, I've been playing the Campus Legend mode so my QB has been a created player. His completion %'s looked like this:

2006...66%
2007...64% (through 9 games)

With Texas, I've mainly used Colt but would put in Snead when Colt had a bad game or even Sherrod Harris when I wanted to open up the zone read and option game. Overall, here is the Team's completion %'s:

2006...67%
2007...71% (through 3 games against Hawaii, TCU, and Wisconsin)

Out of those 4 seasons, I had by far the best recieving talent with the 2006 Tech team. Between Filani, Hicks, and Johnson I had Hicks win the Heisman, Filani finish 4th in the balloting, and Johnson put up 800 yards and 9 TD's as my #3 receiver. When I got in a bind, I could send two of those guys on deep routes and know that I could throw it up, use a manual jump, and user catch most any pass. They didn't drop very few balls. With the 2007 team, my QB and RB are much better but with the young WR's I average 5-6 drops per game...and I lost one game when my WR's had 11 drops out of 36 attempts.

With Texas, good depth at receiver (duh) but they aren't quite as big and physical as the guys at Tech so I didn't send them on as many deep routes. Also, I wasn't running the Tech passing offense when I played as Texas but rather sticking to my own playbook which averages about 270 yds passing and 150 yds rushing...compared to 340 passing and 120 rushing with Tech.

So if you think the computer is catching everything or your guys are catching everything...then you either a) need to play better defense and/or b) turn up the difficulty level and/or adjust the AI sliders.
