Michigan still holds lead over #3 BCS team USC, as BCS rankings just released about 15 minutes ago.

Yeah...#2 by .075, and their season is done until the bowls. USC, on the other hand, still plays top ten Notre Dame. They'll jump next week if they win. Don't forget Florida plays #5 Arkansas in the SEC title game as well. Either of those could jump after the ranks bump up and strength of schedule.

We're still a few weeks from final rankings. This isn't set in stone just yet.

I don't want to see a second place team in a conference playing in the NC. I'm in favor of SC, Arkansas, or Florida play in the NC.

Does it matter? They are conference champions. Quit repeating the new 'it' saying at ESPN :p

Florida will make it to the NC. USC will fall to ND

That is the way it should be. If you only lose to #1 by a field goal there is no way you should drop in the rankings. This is why Division 1 College football should have a playoff system like every other sport on the planet.

i would really hate to see USC play in another NC

Historically rematches have shown to be blowouts by the team who won.

Face it guys, USC is going to play in another nc. Just because the allmighty longhorns are out of it doesnt mean you have to hate USC.

I'd rather see SC play than a damned rematch

If USC beats ND they dont deserve to go? It won't happen. ND wins against USC and plays in the NC game  I don't want to see a rematch between OSU and Michigan, but they are clearly the best two teams in college football.

I think if it's a very close game--comes down to the end--and USC wins, they will not hop Michigan. If they win by 10 or more points, I'm betting USC is the #2 team.

ND beat USC...but then the question is whether or not ND or Michigan goes to the NC. I would love to see ND-Ohio State rematch. Go Irish!

I think that Florida would give OSU a run for their money. With Tebow back there at QB, anything can happen....Just watch, Tebow will win Florida a National Championship, he's amazing.

Michigan will be ranked above ND because they went into South Bend and donkey stomped ND.

Jdog....I agree with you. I think that Florida will win out and meet OSU in the championship game. I don't want USC back....the rematch doesn't excite me...I think that Florida has the best chance at making it a game.

I do not want to see that matchup....I'd rather see an Arkansas/OSU matchup...ANYONE but USC or UT, BUT, I'd MUCH rather see UT in there above USC or Michigan again.
