;) Yeah! Lions, That was an exciting game. I didn't get the chance

to go but, I tuned in on the radio. Do you all think it's time for a

championship title? It's been a long time! I do realize that we

have to take one game at a time. It's going to be a challenge

down the road.!

Vernon has a good team. So does Sweetwater. They both run the ball very well. They both have big time runners that plow over you and they both have speedy backs. Very similiar teams although Sweetwater has had much more hype this year. Not saying it isn't warranted but Sweetwater is the more known team this year. Vernon has failed to close out close games (save the Breckenridge game). Over the last several weeks the Lions have been playing much better football. They will present Sweetwater with a good game. Sweetwater will be the favorite in this matchup but don't be surprised if the Lions upset them either.

Glad the Lions are playing Sweetwater -- that way we will get a lot of discussion on the board this week. -- nothing was said about us last week.
