I got into town too late to make the Sinton Pirates game in Victoria so I went to see my old alma mater play Taft since it was only about 20 miles away.
Thanks for a great season Sinton Pirates. You had lots of adversity this year and yet still made the playoffs. Good job and best of luck to the seniors. For the rest let's go for it agian in 2007!

Great season Taft, I really expected a closer game than what it was. Taft really did have a good offense this year. Good luck, Freer in your future playoff games.

Thanks sotx. It was closer than the score indicated. Freer got some luck breaks such as on a deflected pass that was bounced in the air several times that Freer finally got. Plus a Taft at the 1 yard line hurt their cause. The breaks mostly went Freer's way and that was why it appears to be one sided.
