This may turn out to be a decent game, but I'm taking the Mustangs by 21.

I have Ingleside picked to win Region 4, and i'm not changing my mind yet

Ingleside SHOULD win this one, but do not underestimate La Feria.

Their defense is top notch. Their secondary is their strength. You CAN run the ball all over them, though. Unfortunately, Ingleside doesn't know how to run the football. All they do is pass. Damn I hate "The Spread".

Damn I hate "The Spread". I guess you haven't seen them lately. I got to see them twice, once against Sinton and again last night. I bet they ran the ball for more than 300 yards last night. I havent seen La Feria this year and they may have a good defense, but man that o line for Ingleside has been pretty impressive the last 2 games at least.

Unless Ingleside plays a VERY sloppy game, La Feria will not win.

I'd like to address Ingleside's lack of ability to run the football....

Matt Rodriguez: 75att/451yds/6.0ypc/3TDs
Josh Coffield: 50att/212yds/4.2ypc/3TDs
Zach Adams: 43att/495yds/11.5ypc/12TDs
RJ Endsley: 33att/110yds/3.3ypc/2TDs
Steve Hamilton: 23att/178yds/7.7ypc/3TDs
Jeff Tucher: 14att/73yds/5.1ypc/1TD

These stats from the Caller.com before last night's game. I do not know if they are completely up to date.

Those Avg yds per carry are really good too. Zach had a big game last night. He ran over some of those Gonzalez defenders.

How tall are the La Feria corners?Ingleside won the game last night by running the ball, Zach Adams wont run around any defenders he will run through them, if La Feria can get this guy to run their scout team offense it might help them prepare for Zach

if Ingleside is still healthy then they will take this one............................................... ....................................and I hope I don't regret this but it should be a run away. No offense to La Feria.

It was nice to see Zack drop that shoulder and run a few defenders over. I hope Joel get his hands back for the next game, not at his best last night. Josh really read the defense good last night and made a few on the spot adjustment and completed needed passes, but on the other hand he needs to watch those INT's. I also like how the use other players(Rod, RJ, Hamilton and Techur) keep the defense guessing on who is going to get the ball. The defense making the adjustments in the middle really control the second half. I will be at the next game where ever it is. :D

Ok, I stand corrected. But Ingleside does run the monkey see monkey do offense (aka The Spread). Even though I love my 32-3A teams, I have to go with Ingleside in this one. Too much firepower.

As much as I hate to pick against LF, I have to go with Ingleside on this one. The Lions might have a good defense, but there offense, is still not where it needs to be. They have a decent QB (coaches son, Eli Esquivel) and a very good speedster that catches the ball well and runs effectively,(Thomas Tovar, over 1k run this season) but that's about it. Now, if the D can score, maybe I just don't see it.

Their O line is big, but not very quick, so that won't really help them that much, against a quick O line. But hey, I haven't see Ingleside this year, so I guess we'll know Saturday.

Go Mustangs!! And Josh can run ball remember he didn't run much this season for two reason it wasn't needed and he was recovering from an injury. He was ill at the last game yet still racked up 100 plus yards rushing. I imagine coaches have a plan.
Good Luck to both team. May it be a fair and injury free.

PSS Officially Zack is 194 lbs and 5'8" and clocked by the coaches at a 4.38 last year. But he was also lighter last year(185lb) But boy he's faster if you put a ball in his hand when he runs....................................go figure:D
