A rumor out of Graham...

is that if Graham wins against Dalhart, they will play their 2nd round game next Thursday night. If they play Clyde, it will be either Abilene or Aledo. If it's Sanger then it's either Pennington or Aledo. They are playing on Thursday night so that Coach McCoy can make it down to Austin on Friday morning to meet up with Phil C! ;) Oh...and I think his son might see some playing time for the Horns as well! :)

Maybe I'm not remembering well right now but I can't think of any HS playoff games being played on Thanksgiving in recent memory. Is there much of a precedent for this?

Yeah..like someone else said, Celina has done it a few times. Seems like G.A. Moore always flipped for that.

OK... so now the question is, is McCoy being selfish for wanting to play on Thanksgiving? Being able to coach his two boys in a playoff game AND catch his other son play against A&M.
Again..... Graham has to win ONE playoff game first.
