Cove comes from down 28-21 to beat Wax 33-28, Dallas Wilson next

WACO - Robert Griffin found Brian Jones for a 47-yard touchdown pass with 2:05 left to play to end Copperas Cove's 33-28 Division I Region 2 Bi-District playoff victory over Waxahachie.

On Waxahachie's next drive, down 5 points Micheal Armstrong intercepted a pass with :52 to end Waxahachie's final drive.

Waxahachie maintained a 20-14 half time lead throughout the second half until the late touchdown pass from Copperas Cove. Waxahachie had a fumble, interception, and costly turnovers throughout the second half.

maybe waxahachie was just underrated...

and brownwood is good, they have a young trio (qb, wr, rb), sophomores and juniors, they will be VERY good next year...i think i picked brownwood to win a few games in the 4a pickem...

Heard about their QB, kid is a soph. and supposed to be the next Kirby Freeman coming through Lion country.
