One thing people forget... back in the 80's and early 90's WF Hirschi was a perennial playoff team in 4A. They were going two and three rounds deep with consistency. They've had the athletes there, and this new Coach (Searcy) is making it happen.
Funny thing is that he is from Gainesville, grew up there. He applied for the Gainesville job and didn't get it. Wound up with the Hirschi job and look what he's done. Think Gainesville, who went 1-9 this year, aren't kicking themselves for hiring this guy?
Hirschi had a 28 game losing streak coming into this year.

I was just watching some highlights of this game on the news and there was a HUGE hit on one of the Hirschi RB's just after he turned the corner. His helmet flew off and the ear piece was flying in a different direction. It was a big time lick.

How far is Canyon from Wichita Falls? That might be an alternative fgor Wylie/Canyon. THe other Blue Eagles havent had much success the last two years at Lowrey.

It's about 180 miles Injured. It's not a likely playoff destination for that game.

its what I am voting for. lol Lubbock is 160 or so for us. How far is Lubbock from Canyon? I guess I could goolemap it as Adidas so graciously pointed out to someone this afternoon.
