Mustangs had rough first half. But made the adjustments in the second and turned it on. Great Job Mustangs.

Coach H. has been impressive in his coaching career with the ability to change it around and make the adjustments if its not working like intended. Good luck next week:cheerl:

Congrats on the win Mustangs. Both teams played a good game. Gonzales made some mistakes and the Mustangs made them pay for the mistakes, as good football teams do. The coaches had the Mustangs prepared well, and made good adjustments at half time. I would like point out the fact that there were no personal fouls or cheap shots on either team. Both teams respected each other. I saw both teams helping their opponents up after tackles. So I hope everyone that reads this understands that the Cuero fans that had posted on pervious threads about Gonzales playing dirty were shifting a lot of blame for the dirty play to the Apaches and away from themselves. In Gonzales we take pride in good sportsmanship and fair play. A lot of what happened in Cuero is because the game is such a big rivalry. But to say that everything was Gonzales’s fault would be a huge LIE !!

Good luck to the Mustangs from Apaches, We are pulling for YOU!!

Thanks, man. Hell of a season for the Apaches. Sounds like those kids hung in there and gave us a game. They definitely didn't go down easy and definitely don't have anything to hang their heads for.
