I know that Vernon played Swater in Lubbock on year but I was hoping that it would be in Abilene.

If Perryton wins, we have always played them in Canyon in the past. We have always played Vernon in Lubbock in the past, as far as I can remember.

SWEETWATER 20, ARGYLE 14 Pretty close game. Hmmm?

really close game.......sweetwater fumbled alot, should have had 5 interceptions, only came up with two.....sweetwater is very fortunate to walk away with a victory tonight.

argyle wasnt the team i thought, they were alot better than what ive heard. their defense swarmed the ball very well, our offense couldnt run anythign to the outside. then agian, when you put 8 in the box, its gonna be hard to run against such a presistant defense.

argyles offense......... i dont remember a team ever run a 5 receiver spread EVERY play. they played it good, they would line up 88 on the 3 wide side and have him block for the other 2 recievers. if argyles qb had more accruacy, they would have won this game by 2-3 touchdowns....easily.

sweetwaters offensive line really stepped it up in the 4th quarter, they were able to drive the ball better. lucky for them they had 2 break away touchdowns(one from an interception ran back by banyard) that got them the majority of their points. without those big plays, sweetwater would be getting ready for thump thump.

congrads to sweetwater on this win tonight.

I personally thought Argyle's quarterback did a great job. He could launch that ball and I thought he was pretty accurate. Some of those passes the receivers should've stepped up and caught. Luckily for Sweetwater, their secondary stepped up and played a decent game tonight. Could've had a couple more interceptions, but it's over now. Now it's on to next week.
