Well, nobody necessarily "jumped in"....everybody on the ice had their own partner that they were fighting with...so basically there were 6 fights going on at the same time.

Hmmm, So the Goalies just met out in center Ice and called that Hopper guy (is that even his name?) to come out and say "Let's get ready to rumMmMmmmMMble" and start squabbin'? Or did one run to the other one etc...? Or were they fighting someone else?

Kinda strange for two goalies to fight each other when their goals are so far apart...
