It is...but it's also part of the free market system. However, I think it would be hilarious if Sony had built in some type of copyright language that prevents the resale of the ps3 for personal gain. It would be funny to watch a bunch of these donks get in trouble with the law for these low life actions. Personally, I find it funny that those that are doing this are just looking to make a quick dollar instead of building some type of tangible skills and GETTING A JOB! :thumbsup:

I agree with you on that one. I have a PS3 locked down and I am not going to sell it just to make a quick buck.

I thought about buying one in advance but 1) they don't have NCAA or TW out on PS3 and those would be my biggest wants and 2) I'm going to wait on TMer's report on the quality of the blu-ray player and to see how the blu ray vs hd-dvd thing shakes out. I figure I'll buy one in June or July once NCAA 08 comes out. Then I can pay my $600 and be happy. Who knows...maybe I'll be able to get a bit cheaper elsewhere by then! :thumbsup:

yep...serves them right too. I think it's BS that so many people (some surveys done around Dallas put the # between 90-95%) are buying the ps3 just to resell it on eBay. This was my favorite part...one guy called in sick for 3 days so that he could stand in line to get one. He said he was wanting to use the money to give his kids a good christmas. Yes this sounds good...but why not show your kids that you are committed to working hard for them and to do your best to support them and that includes setting a good example in your job! :mad:
