Schulenburg 35-21

Shorthorns came out a little flat, maybe looking ahead to a possible matchup with Lexington. Game was filled with lots of flags and turnovers. Schulenburg allowed Brazos to hang around, before they finally broke it open early 4th QTR. Schulenburg will have to play much better if they want to defeat Lexington.

A few stats from the game:

Schulenburg 12 FD's, 196 yds rushing, 139 yds passing

Wallis Brazos 16 FD's, 277 yds rushing, 125 yds passing

Game was a little sloppy. Brazos had 12 penalties for 75 yds, was intercepted 3 times and lost 2 fumbles. Schulenburg had 4 penalties for 50 yds and was picked off once. Schulenburg will have to do much better on defense if they want to beat Lexington.
