Wish it would have been two good teams. Vernon Northside destroyed Moran. VN had three really good athletes.

Go Vernon Northside!!!!!!!!!
My brother played for them in high school. So did my Dad! But my brother still lives here in Vernon and he goes to all the games and told me that this is the very best team that he has ever seen them field. They were pretty salty two years ago but this year they have the athletes and a new coach who knows something about 6 man football. Glad to see that they took care of business tonight!
Hopefully I will get to catch a game.
Go Indians!!!!

My husband is passing up the Greenwood game and going to watch 6-man Meadow play Robert Lee.
His nephew is the QB and has been hurt the past 5 or 6 weeks and is finally getting to play tomorrow in Stanton!

6-Man football is no where close to as good as 11 man in my book either but when you watch two good teams go at it, it can be really entertaining. I like to see some of the offensive an defensive strategies that the coaches employ and see ho much different it is than 11 man strategey.

It's a blast to watch at a high level. It's like 7-on-7...but with tackling and more big plays. The formations and ideas that they come up with are very interesting...
