For my husband and I, stopping at Whataburger and grabbing a BOB (breakfast on a bun) and a couple of Bacon, Egg and Cheese Tacos has become a tradition after football games...... :) The BOB is really good with a layer of sliced jalapenos on it :cool:

Ha, I have to laugh every time I go to Corpus. I dont think you can find a place in town, where you cant see at least two Whataburger signs. It's the same way with Taco Cabanas, in San Antonio.

I remember when I was in 1st grade at St. James, yes, I did go to private school for a semester, that we took a tour on the city bus talking about the history of Corpus Christi. One thing we did we go the 1st, actully, the 2nd Whataburger, because the true 1st one was a guy pushing around a cart. Oh, to be young again and not have to be in college. :D

I never understand the marketing ploy to just have a burger part of the time on the menu, then take it away and add it again a few months later...they think it will increase sales for the month that it's around, but I'd think they'd be better off if they just left it on the menu so you could have it any time you wanted it!

44 - I like getting a sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a bacon egg and cheese taquito when I go... but I've since replaced the sausage egg and cheese biscuit with a whatachicken...

But I can't wait to get me a thick and hearty, it's about time... I think I'll get one tomorrow night after the game...

It's the same with the McRib or whatever it is at McDonalds... too much flavor for someone to get on a regular basis...

but I love 'em too, mainly because I can't get them all of the time and am excited as hell when I can...
