Gatesville has an enrollment of 742, while Connally is at 696. Gatesville will go Div.I.

But has G'ville clinched a berth yet?No, Gatesville has not clinched the 17AAA Division One berth. They have a must win at Connally Friday night. If the Hornets lose, they are out, and Connally will be the Division One winner. China Springs is already in as the Division Two representative.

WOW, I didn't realize that Gatesville could miss the playoffs entirely with a 5-2 district record. I knew China Spring, Connally and Gatesville were in the mix, but for some reason I thought LaVega had faded away with 3 district losses, I don't know why I was thinking they had 3 losses in district. Anyway, it should be really interesting this Friday for Gatesville, because Connally has been one of my sleeper picks this year, and are playing really well. Good luck Hornets, I hope you can pull it off. :)
