Hey CHS that stands for Castlebery High right. I agree completly with you Region II is the toughest divison. Look at all of the ranked teams from our region. Did you play this year. Of course I guess I'm kinda biassed having graduated from Everman. Hey has Chad Smith decided where he is going to play. He is a pretty decent QB considering he got thrustedinto thaat position,

yes I think region 2 appears to be stronger as a whole this year, because region 4 powers like cuero, sealy, sweeny and La Grange(even though there still in it) are not that strong this year.

I think you can safely say region 2 is the strongest this year in 5A, 4A, 3A, and 2A. Just take a look at the playoff brackets. It is probable that reg.2 will win state in each of these classes (maybe 1A too) and will possibly win both divisions in each of these classes. Mesquite/Lufkin..Denton Ryan/Ennis...Everman/Commerce...VanAlstyne/Celina no other region comes close.

Region 4 5A D1 SA Taft D2Austin Westlake
4A D1 Smithson Valley D2 Austin Reagan
3A D1 Sinton D2 La Grange(might be out by tonight)
all these have a real good chance of winning it all. But as a whole from top to bottom I think Region 2 is the strongest.

Evebulldog, Yeah I play for CHS and Chad hasn't decided where he wants to go yet. He had 1200 yrds from QB this year (his first at QB). Me and him are pretty good frineds I'll let know where he decides.

it's not about which is the strongest region. at any given time, a team from region IV can beat a team from regions I, II, or III and vice versa. it's about WHO the best team is...and the state championship game determines that. you can't win the state championship and not be considered the best. the best will be determined next weekend. i will not be surprised if it's La Grange again.
go leps!!!

I would have to say that the strongest region consistantly is region 2. Region 1 and 3 varry from year to year, while region 4, as a whole, is usually the weakest.
