Coldspring 9th and JV handled Willis fairly easily. The varsity lost to Willis 14-0. Their RB Erick Hatchett had about 80 yards on 6 carries, Tauren Lagway for us had about 60 on 4 carries, they both made moves that had the crowd jumpin.
One of their scores was another blown assignment on our zone, the other was a good drive by Willis. Both coaches intentionally passed about 75% of the time which is what they said they would do. I know both teams will probably run 75% of the time normally. Willis was definitely the best team tonight. One of the few bright spots, aside from Lagway, is that last week Willis beat 5A Tyler John Tyler 35-14. So our D is definitely getting there. But Willis had the best team on this night.
