please lets let this turn into a popularity contest and a homer event as two of the 4 regional polls were. Look at their stats and make your vote dont base it off your hometown hero please.

I am not going to promote any candidate but when you think about this kid toting the rock 39 times and still having that type of average.

21 carries for 236 three-footers, average of 11.2 a carry and even a 34 yard reception... Looks like Mr. Ricco was the big difference in Brownsboro winning a district championship...

You got my vote, Ricco

Kind of impressive... could've busted a 60 yard run, impressive... then could have busted a 74 yard run... impressive, then he could have had a two and three after that.... not impressive...

Earlier in the season, vs Sealy, Wilkerson had 25 carries for 329 and 4 tds......he didn't even win the POW for his Region....

He averaged almost 9 yds/carry for the year.

Green only averaged 6 carries a game last yr. 126- 1257 -24 TD's. and only 7 carries a game this yr. 70 carries - 708 yds. 14 Td's so far, can any RB you know put up those kind of numbers with such few carries? I DON'T THINK SO! VERY IMPRESSIVE in my book. By the way, that's a TD every 5 carries.

Last time I checked, it took 11 guys to play the game of football. One kid doesn't win or lose by himself.

Really, not a very smart comment.....

So, by your logic, Willie Parker's a better running back than Barry Sanders ever was, right? I mean, Barry Sanders couldn't even win a Super Bowl....

see thats the homer crap that pollutes these polls. Vote for the kid that had the best game in your eyes not because he lives in Mayberry or whatever other town is in your region.

I just ignore him. He has said maybe 3 intelligent things his entire downlow tenure.

Rest assured that your scenario didnt go down, they went long every carry, 1st 2 carries were to the house....he could have had more but got tripped up on the outside

BIG BLUE DEFENSIVE END

It takes 11 people to win a game. By all appearance, the kid put as much effort into winning the game as he possibly could and fell short. You can't judge him for not trying. The kid put up some impressive numbers, and he deserves some recognition, whether or not his team succeeded or not.

That is pretty darn impressive to average that per carry for Green. If Shawnbrey had played against a better defense I would've nominated him. He carried it 6 times for 238 yards and 4 TD's last week.

i'm not being a homer...but 35 yards a carry is the most impressive stat on this poll...i'm not voting tho...cuz i dont want it to look like a homer vote...but c'mon yall, honestly, 35 yards a carry is amzing....true it would look more impressive if it was over the span of like 10 carries in a game...but regardless...still most impressive stat to me

that stat for shawnbrey is amazing as well 230 sumthin yards on six carries....thats sick
