By a La Villa Cardinal on a fake punt attempt. La Villa is a tiny little 1A school here in the Valley.

That poor kid never saw it coming either. DANG! That kid got lit up like a Christmas tree!

A great clean hit but hardly good sportsmanship to walk away like that when a player is obviously hurt that you just hit. Some concern could have been shown. Oh well.

First, the kid should walk away. Otherwise he might get flagged for taunting and if he is hurt, he does not need to try to help hiw up. He had done his job so get back to the huddle or the bench.

Second, there was a hit late in the Llano/Wimberly game that made this one look tame. The Llane kid didn't get up for a few seconds and the trainers came on the field. When he finally got up everybody clapped until he started walking to the Wimberly bench. The trainer grabbed him by the arm and he walked off under his own power but his knees buckled three times and he was walking like he was drunk.

What's sad is if he was in the NFL he would have been flagged, fined, and possibly even suspended. The NFL has turned into a powder puff league and before you know it it will become flag football. That was a good football play. If you can't take it go play basketball.

exactly it was a cheap shot that kid should have been thrown out of the game for that cheap shot
