I think he are one.

Either way, he's from just across the bay. I still pull for TAMU-CC whenever they play. They've developed a pretty strong hoops program for a mid-major and their softball team used to be a national power (though I haven't kept up with them in a while, at least not since Sarah graduated).

the islanders basketball team rocks. they will be better next season. supposedly they just got their best recruiting class ever locked up for next season. cant wait.
