View Full Version : Region III GotW (Round 1): Coldspring vs Kirbyville

Coldspring Oakhurst Trojans (22-3A) and Kirbyville Wildcats (21-3A) will meet Friday, 7:30 pm, Abe Martin Stadium, Lufkin, in this Region III, D2 game.

After being picked next to last in the district by DCTF magazine, the Trojans had a "Take that" season, going 5-0 in district to win the championship trophy and finished 8-2 overall.

The Wildcats, playing in one of the toughest districts in the state, finished the season 7-3 overall, 5-2 in district play. Their district losses were to West Orange-Stark and Silsbee.

Thoughts? Predictions?

CORRECTION, COLDSPRING LOST TO SPLENDORA FOR THE DISTRICT TITLE 20-12, HOWEVER I WILL SAY THAT C-SPRING IS A MUCH IMPROVED TEAM. .

K'ville can be a pretty dangerous team. I'd be surprised if they lose this one.

I give up! I could see misreading one, but TWO? :mad: Sorry about that. Obviously my source is unreliable and the other is out of date. :(
