Great news today as the Texas A&M Ladies have apparantly came out of their slump and beat a good SMU team 4 to 1. I feel this team is our best bet for the NC but they had been in a slump lately. Of course I want UT to advance several spots too. Way to go Lady Aggies!
Unfortunately the UT vs Connecticut was postponed till tomorrow at 11 A.M. due to bad weather. The NCAA in it's infinite wisdom scheduled the playoffs up there this time of year while Austin is having great weather. Oh well. Go Horns!

More good news for Big 12 Soccer as Colorado also advances to sweet 16 finals as Colorado beats Denver 2 - 1. This is great news. Let's hope UT and Oklahoma State also advance. I don't know what is going on with Oklahoma State today. Their game might have been postponed.

The last I heard was that Oklahoma State was tied with Clemson 0 - 0. The game may be decided by overtime or penalty kicks right now.

This is a great picture of the UT Soccer Team getting the Big 12 Tournament trophy. I wish I could have gone to this tournament at least one day. But at least I will get to to the UT vs A&M football game. :)

The bad news is that Oklahoma State didn't get to advance losing on penalty kicks to Clemson.

bull I will check on it. Right now three of the four Big 12 teams are in the sweet 16 which includes UT, A&M, and Colorado. Oklahoma State lost to Clemson on penalty kicks 4 to 2.
I think that UT plays Portland next in Austin. I am sure the Lady Aggies will have home field advantage but I am not sure who they play.

UT plays Portland on Sunday (Nov. 19) in Austin at 1 P.M.
A&M plays Virginia on Friday (Nov. 17) in College Station at 6 P.M.

Colorado plays No. 1 Notre Dame on Friday (Nov. 17) at 6:30 P.M.
I think it is in Colorado.

I also found out that the UC goalie made some great blocks on the penalty kicks while our goalie was twice actually faked out but they hit the crossbars and bounced out. So we did get some breaks. :)
