A month or so ago Adidas & Bullaholic (GMTA) had a brilliant idea to ask some downlowers to donate whatever they could so that the biggest UT supporter on the board, PHIL C, could attend only his SECOND UT football game!! What better game than UT/A&M??

Thanks to everyone who helped in the effort. :clap: :clap: :clap:

Thank you again everyone. You have done so much already. I am even amazed you were able to get tickets to this sell out game. I was floored that night. What great friends there are on the 3A Downlow. I am still stunned and awed.

Phil is a great guy! I only met him once 3 years ago, but I still remember it well. Phil, I hope you have a GREAT time!

I'd also like to express my appreciation for Adidas, Bullaholic and all who were involved in making this happen for Phil. That is an act of true class, and my respect for you all has grown. What an awesome thing to do. You guys are great!:clap:

Thanks everyone. I will try to have pictures. But UT doesn't allow cameras at the stadium :( and you know how I like to obey rules. But I will sure have a full report of the trip. Thanks again!

are you sure about this? I've never seen a stadium that doesn't allow photo cameras. I'm sure they don't allow video cameras but photos aren't a problem.

Cameras/Video cameras
Cameras, other than professional cameras with detachable lenses, are allowed in the stadium. Video cameras are not permitted inside the stadium.

They are happy. My wife and youngest son aren't really into sports but the oldest one is delighted. While we go to the game they plan to go to the movies in Austin.

What also worries me about the game is that the Aggies have lost very close games. And the last two have only been by 1 point each and they barely lost to Tech. At the same time at UT we have had so many injuries and one was to our starting qb. Very scary indeed. The Aggies were very mad last year when they lost at College Station and they are going to come out snorting fire and shooting bbs out their eyes. Most scary indeed. I am sure the hills of Austin will rumble from this great colision. I will be hanging onto my Spurs Cap. Go Horns!

Thanks again everyone. I will be getting up early and my son and I will be hitting the road by at least 6:30 in the morning since the game is starting at 11 A.M. and get on to Austin. This is one trip I am looking forward to.
