Man, we would have been primed and ready to be in the National Championship. UT however deserved to lose. Good gosh 45 poiints from a team that only scored 45 points on one other team - the Florida Atlantic University Owls (3-7). Texas needs to seriously regroup after this one.

The defensive gurus Chizik and Akina need to go back to the drawing board.

They just got dropped by an average team. Should of got dropped by Nebraska and Tech couple of other average teams.

Does this mean they are overrated or is this only for USC and ND being overrated.

Falling for playaction 20 times is what happened.

Anybody notice how much blitzing the linebackers did in the second half? It seemed like they were sending at least one LB on every pass play. I don't know if they were in man coverage and if the RB stayed home to block the LB went blitzing, but it left the middle open on more than one play that was completed.
Also.... Snead couldn't handle that game. He went 13 for 30, and missed several plays where his receivers were open. Did y'all notice how many passes he threw that went over the receivers?
Many of his passes were sailing on him.

He has hardly played and the offense scored 35 pts. with him. The offense didn't lose the game, the overrated defense did.

This has been the norm all season. This is why the run defense looks good and the pass defense looks bad.

They continually rush 7 and leave the secondary man to man. Even against Texas Tech they ran the 4-3 and had slow white Scott Derry to cover a receiver.

KSU had under 10 yards rushing most of the game. WHYYYY do you not tell you linebackers to sit back and defend the pass. Everytime they would fall for the playaction.
