Congrats to Bellville, who were they playing??? and that's it...

I would like to nominate two players... QB Joel Ansley and receiver Jamial Shelton of Wharton... Joel Ansley hooked up with Jamial Shelton for the game winning TD in OT against Needville to clinch a freakin' playoff spot... can't get any bigger than that (unless someone else did it too)...

Shelton hauled in 6 passes for 65 yards and QB Joel Ansley rushed for 126 yards on 21 carries... wish I could have told you how much he threw for, but yet again, I'm getting this from the Victoria Advocate, so I'm surprised they told me which team they're from... so we'll say he was 6-6 for 65 yards (unless you know, Crow)...

And in the same game, I would like to nominate a player for Region III, hell, State NAME OF THE WEEK...

Needville QB (Hell I guess, says he tossed a ball in the paper) MAY LEY... AWESOME...

great game. this kid looked really good....great blocking from OL, RB, and WR's.

Ansley didn't complete a very high percentage but the ones he DID complete were big.

Our qb's name isn't "May Ley"....its Max Ley....
