The most unbelievable comback I have ever heard. I listened to the second half driving home from Navasota and was so depressed when Caldwell went up 28-3. I hoped for the comeback and couldn't believe my ears when it unfolded. Caldwell is some team and it is a shame that they stay home and 2-7 teams can go to the playoffs but that's the system. Bellville was never a team to roll over and I kept telling myself that they would come back and lo and behold they did. Unbelievable! Congratulations and thanks for the help. Here's to district 23 and two state championships in 2006. Go Bellville win State!!! Go Leps!!!:D

What an amazing game! We left when Bellville scored to make it 28-10 thinking nice try for a comeback but not enough time left. Listened to the finish on the radio on the way back home and couldn't believe what we were hearing.

Wow, blow a 28-3 lead with 6:00 to go. Talk about the wheels falling off for Caldwell. Who's their coach, Jack Pardee?

Never in 100 years would I believed Bellville could come back from a 25 point deficit. What a Game to see in person. Never say die, at the Pasture of Pain.
Lets see the district go 3-0 in the 1st round. I would love to see La Grange get another shot at Giddings.

Former, don't you think that Caldwell O is something? They just roll that football! The Bellville boys were flat and it was like they woke up with a little under 5 minutes left and said "whoa! Let's rock!" What a finish. I doubt I'll ever see or hear another one like that. Whew!

Yep, FBB, never say never in the Pasture of Pain. Talk about "bull"headed! Okay, KL3, once again, I must chastize you for throwing in that towel too soon. You were right once, but did you really think the Brahmas would roll over and play dead??? Incredible turnaround, Bulls!! Congrats to the team, coaches, families, fans and support folks that stayed till the cold bitter end--it was worth every shiver and delay. A game for the record books, we'll be talking about this game forever. Good game, Caldwell--what a disappointment. I am so proud of the Brahmas--these are young men who know what it takes to get the job done and NEVER SAY NEVER! GO BRAHMAS!

I knew Caldwell was going to play Bellville tough, I saw the La Grange vs Caldwell game and I knew that night Bellville would have trouble with the Hornets. Very good O from Caldwell. Bellville started very slow 3 turnovers in the 1st half, and one in the 2nd half. The Moon and Stars must have not been in the right place until Bellville was down by 25, but must have been in line for the last 6 minutes. What a comeback!!!!!!
I hate to see a very good Caldwell team not make the play-offs, they also could have also gone deep.

I stayed in Navasota with some of the parents and the team was still in the locker room when Bellville made the comeback and when the team came out we all had the game on our car radios so they could hear the final 30 seconds. What a great comeback by Bellville.

That was an amazing game. Caldwell has an amazing run defence, holding us to 2 big runs. If we would've started to hunk the seed a little earlier i think that game would have been a lot less nerve racking on everyone

Just got back from the game.
I ran into the local newspaper editor after the game
and said What are you gonna write in the paper?
No amount of words can explain what happend.
He looked at me and shrugged.
I told him print
"Ya just had to be there"
My son was moved up and he will be with the playoff team next
week.
I hope they saved some of that magic for the playoffs.
Go Get um son..

Well said!

Remember my post "LG has become Bellville's biggest fans"? I'm sure the whole town loves the Brahmas tonight!! Good luck to the playoff bound Leps! My heart goes out to Caldwell, they are too good of a team to miss the playoffs and they didn't deserve to go out this way.
