Gilmer got out to a 28-0 lead after one quarter. Gladewater controlled the ball pretty well in the second quarter and put together a 70-yard scoring drive. So it's 28-7 at the half.

G.J. Kinne hits Jamell Kennedy with 59-yard scoring strike to cap 99-yard drive. 35-7 with about 2 minutes left in the third.

Curtis Brown just scored on a 46-yard reception. Burgin's PAT makes it 42-14 with 11 minutes left.

Gladewater just returned a fumble eight yards for a TD. With 4:34 left to play, it's Gilmer 49, Gladewater 21.

Gilmer has now won six straight district championships and run the table each time. Jeff Traylor's record as coach since 2000 is 71-13.

Congratulations to the 10-0 Buckeyes. Next game is at Lobo Stadium in Longview on Friday night, Nov. 17, against the Liberty-Eylau Leopards.
