gilmer's wide receiver curtis brown (cruise missile #1) has been ranked the #1 recruit in the state of texas. he has verbally commited to UT as a defensive back. kudos to downtown brown.

this info is from rivals. Curtis has jumped ahead of qb Ryan Mallet of Texas High, making him the #9 recruit in the nation according to rivals.com.
