Ad the Aggies had a good team that year going 11 - 3. The three losses were to 11 - 2 Florida State 14 to 23, 9 - 3 Texas 24 to 26, and 11 - 1 Ohio State in the Sugar Bowl 14 to 24.

That was a fun game at Kyle Field (Zone was under construction). Dante' Hall had a big day, Toombs had the big run where he drug a guy like 8 yds., & Sedric Curry picked off a pass to ice the game in the final minutes. Defense played hard all day. LB Warrick Holdman was everywhere.

It was a good team, Phil. All the losses were close to good teams, & of course we won the Big 12 that year over K State.

RC punted twice in the 4th quarter down by 10 to Ohio State including once in the final 2 minutes. Then the downward spiral started big-time culminating in the 2002 6-6 year, & RC was let go after the season.
