UT is on a roll but are unfortunate in having to play at UCON. Hopefully they can win and advance a few rounds and not play one and done as last year.
The Lady Aggies appear to be in a slump but are still a great team. UT went into a slump at mid season when they lost to Oklahoma State and got tied by Oklahoma in Austin but they came out of the slump and are on a roll which will hopefully help at UCON.
The Lady Aggies do have home field advantage and hopefully they can win and come out of the slump. Realistically I think they are the best bet to win the NC and bring it to Texas. But they must play like they are capable and get out of thise slump. It is not good to go into slump at year end. But they are capable.
The good thing is for UT and A&M aggies to do great in the tournament and go several rounds. This will attracK soccer players to these two schools and help in nation wide recruiting. It will also keep these schools being powerhouses and hopefully eventually make both serious NC challengers. That would be good for women's soccer in Texas. So for right now I say HOOK 'EM LADY HORNS AND GIG 'EM LADY AGGIES! ADVANCE IN THE SOCCER TOURNAMENT THIS WEEKEND TO THE NEXT LEVEL!
