What kind of defense does Canyon and Dalhart run? By the way, Burk has to win to get in.

Canyon is very similiar to Abilene Wylie in a lot of ways.

Same colors, same make up of kids, same style of play, both have a great winning tradition, kids will play extremely hard. You will have to bring your "A" game to come out on top.

I know the that I never really watched how they played b/c whatever they did it never seemed to work. It always seemed like Hirshi was a guaranteed win, but I guess some things change. I do know that they are pretty fast and have some athletic kids.

Hirschi runs a one back, spread attack out of the shotgun. They are probably 75% run to 25% pass. They like to spread you out to take advantage of the extreme quickness of their RB and QB. They throw it just enough to keep you honest and make you keep the safeties back. QB is very capable of beating you with his arm but more likely to beat you with his legs. Not sure about the other side of the ball but the LB's can run.
