Your School's History

Ever since the year 2000 I've collected the sports section of every Sinton Pirate football story printed in the paper. The funny thing is that I didn't realize how much paper i've collected from 2000 up to now. All stored up in a box just collecting dust. Now the hard part is go through all that paper and cut out the articles of Sinton and start putting together a scrapbook year by year. The only one i ever finished putting together was 2001. So how many of you have collected the articles of your team's history?

For all four years of high school, I collected every program and newspaper article for Cameron and some for yoe alum playing college ball. I didnt use a scrapbook though-I filed them in little file boxes. Each year has a box and each game has a file. Yes..I have no life lol.

Now I just collect programs from the games I go to and Dave Campbell's magazine.

I don't have any physical copies, but I found some archived articles on Mathis' run to state in '99.

I have all of the papers from my junior and senior year, but have yet to make a scrapbook. Football, basketball, and track. Should be nice when I get it all put together.

That's actually how I got started collecting info... as a high school junior back in 1985 when WO-S was actually 5A and gave Houston Yates a run for their money I kept all the newspaper clippings from each week. The problem was that I never stopped over the next 21 years...... :nerd: :helpme: :crazy1:
