I have been out of town this weekend...so let me see if I got this correct. All I know is Wylie is in the playoffs. Clyde is 2-2, but Sweetwater has to beat Breck for Clyde to get in the playoffs, right?

yea....that sounds about right, which im sure that sweetwater will beat breck. which will put clyde in the playoffs for the first time in how long? help me out on that one clyde fans or anyone that just knows

Its been awhile for Clyde...for some reason 1996 sounds familiar.

I read a scenario a minute ago but didnt understand something...What has to happen for Sweetwater to miss the playoffs?

i dont think that sweetwater can miss the playoffs. i think even if they lose to breck. they would still go. i can't imagine a team as good as sweetwater not making playoffs

From the Region I playoff scenarios thread, courtesy of WOS87:

"(1) If Sweetwater wins next week the three playoff teams will be 1st - Abilene Wylie (Division I) , 2nd - Sweetwater, 3rd - Clyde
(2) If Breckenridge wins next week the three playoff teams will be 1st - Abilene Wylie (Division I) , 2nd & 3rd - If Breckenridge wins by 8-15 pts or more (depending on the point differential cutoff for the district) they will be 2nd and be the top seed in Division II and Sweetwater would be 3rd. If they win by less than 8 pts they are certain to be the Runnerup seed in the Division II playoffs and Sweetwater would be the top seed."

So Clyde will have to practice all this week even though they might not have another game.

Sweetwater will beat Breck by 20+ IMO so the Clyde Bulldogs had better keep practicing.
