I guess we will find out next week. Kudos to their coach, though. Running the table, no matter the schedule, is a difficult feat, and for him to get the team this far should be applauded.

first off rutgers is where college football was born so that should count for something.

And they have beaten some decent teams. Illonois pushed Ohio State in a 17-10 game yesterday. South Florida is very underrated there a good team as is Pittsburg. Im sure they dont mind being a joke laughing all the way to the pay day there going to get from the big bowl game they play in.

South Fla?? Are you kidding me? Illinios? You need to watch more football. Both those teams are about tier 3 teams at best. Pitt maybe tier II but just barely there. ALl those teams would be lucky to be at .500 in the following conferences: SEC, Big XII, Big Ten, or Big East. The eastern media machine has Rutgers popular.

South Florida blew Louisville out last year when they were undefeated and suppose to be an NC contender and have most of that team back and Illonois has been up on a lot of big ten teams who are in the top 25 and i guarantee u I watch more football then you. You just handicap the field and underestimate teams.

last year? You are a serious fan if you are taking into consideration what happened last year. (sarcasm)
here is south floridas schedule so far. There is no way you can tell me they are legit or above a tier III team.
09/02 McNeese St W 41-10
09/09 Fla Int'l W 21-20
09/16 at C Florida W 24-17
09/23 at Kansas L 13-7
09/29 #23 Rutgers L 22-20
10/07 UConn W 38-16
10/14 at UNC W 37-20
10/22 at Cincy L 23-6
11/04 Pittsburgh W 22-12
they lost to Kansas. We all know how bad they are. Lost to Cincy? Yeah they are a power house.
The entire big east is a joke. They pad their offensive stats against crap teams in their league and play no heavyweights in non conference play.

The big East is better than the big 12 this year so shut up about Rutgers. Give them some credit and stop bashing them because they are not UT. Have you even seen them play?

HAve you seen them play??? I have seen them on tv. The Big East is a huge joke. NO one in that conference can paly a lick of defense. Back up your statement with facts. ITs easy to get on here and tell soemone to shut up but grow a pair and tell me how they are better than the big 12. I am not bashing them because they are not UT. I am a football realist. I blast UT as much as I blast any other school.

Here is just one fact. #2 in the BCS Louisville, #10 West Virginia, #13 Rutgers. Those three teams conbined record 23-1. Then you have Pitt who is not a great team but not terrible either. Lousiville handed Kansas St. their butts and Kansas St. is third in the Big 12 North. Just stating that cause that is the only big 12 big east match up. Im not saying the big east is always better than the big 12 but this year they are, this year alone.

injuredinmelee

they are inflating their records against crappy opponents. There is no way that the big east is a better conference this year.

The only bigger joke is Louisville. The Big East shouldn't even be a part of the BCS.

Injured ur such a homer i bet you havent even seen Rutgers play. You cant beat teams you dont play all u can do is beat who u play. You cant take it away from Rutgers for who they play there undefeated and thats a fact since your looking for facts. They have 2 legit NFLfirst round players in Ray Rice and Brian Lenord RB and Fb the only joke is your knowledge of college football if you ask me
