Let's hope Florida can lose at least one game. Can you imagine the controversy if a lot of 1 loss teams don't get to play Ohio State? :) And what if Michigan beats Ohio State? :)

What if the winner of OSU/Michigan get upset again before the end of the season, and UofL gets beat by rutgers. There would be no undefeated teams left with a chance in the NC.

They've locked up the SEC West bid, and Arkie is in the driver's seat from the East. But Arkie still has LSU (IMO the best team in the SEC) and Tennessee. I'm crossing my fingers they lose at least one of those and Auburn wins out.

By the way, with or without JaMarcus Russell, I don't think there's a team in the land that could hang with Ohio State and Michigan like LSU. They shouldn't have lost to Auburn or Florida, but it happens.

I know everyone that's resigned to being in a second-tier bowl is dreading playing the Tigers.

I agree with you. Although im a texas fan , I think that Texas if they did play tOSU again they have a better chance at winning this time around. But i agree that LSU if they played without the turnovers could be handle tOSU ! They are freakishly fast.

Rutgers would be undefeated in that scenario! Of course, they'd never make the NC...but if it did happen, just to shut everybody up, it should be Rutgers vs. Boise State for the NC since they'd be the only two undefeated teams.

That's true but the NCAA cares too much about ratings and money!! They would never do that, the NCAA is ALL about money!! That's why there is no playoffs, the want the money that the sponsers bring to them!!!

Rutgers would still have to win at West Virginia if they beat Louisiville at the end of the season....If Rutgers goes undefeated and we were going to put West Va. or Louisville in teh national title for going undefeated then they should be in there too...btw, Rutgers actually has a defense unlike West Va. or Louisville....
