View Full Version : Texas "scenario"

A few things need to happen for the Horns to have a chance at the NC. Next this weekend Louisville will take on Rutgers, what needs to happen is Rutgers beats Louisville which would probably put out their NC hopes. Then we need Ohio to beat Michigan to give them a loss, then they would drop. Then we need West Virginia to beat Rutgers in the last game of the season to take care of that little shindig of a season they are having. So when that happens there will be one undefeated team, Ohio, which we will hopefully get another shot at in the NC. If that happens I think we are golden for the NC. Now if this scenaio happens thats another story but UT fans lets pray lol

theres a better chance of UM/tOSU parts 1 and 2.. as opposed to UT/tOSU which would probably end the same way a second time.

and who's to say that if the Ville wins out they dont vault into the #2 spot... they are a) undefeated, b) from a conference with more road wins vs the BCS than the Big XII, and c) just would have beat the #3 and #15 team in the nation....

I think he's talking about the maturation of Colt McCoy

no it wasnt... losing 15 starters to injuries from week 2 to week 10 makes you a different team...

turning your playing level around from week 2 to week 10 makes you a better playing team which has become more complete...

like i said, say that then... now that WVU is out of the National Championship picture and both my picks from last year are done with the chase for the title...

Louisville should vault up tp #2 if they win out.

tOSU vs Louisville :)

YOU ARE WRONG!!!!

There would still be 2 undefeated, Ohio State and Boise State. Boise State just wouldn't play in the NC game because the WAC is weak

Boise is a very good team who will play an entire D1 season without suffering a loss

I am confident Boise State will win if they play the University of Texas

If Ian Johnson isn't sucessful then they won't win. He is the key to their offense and Texas run D is phenominal.

See, the problem is...

1) 3aDownlow does not condone gambling
2) I have no idea how you will get said money to me
3) On the rare chance i lose, I'M POOR

you're just made because you had WV put in your sig and now they lost :p :D

In all seriousness, as late in the season as that OSU/Michigan game is, the chances of the losing team getting into the Nat'l championship if everyone else wins out it very slim, and is why the BCS won't do justice this year... last year everyone knew who the big dogs were...

As for OSU and Texas Part 2 going the same way as earlier this year I wouldn't go so far... OSU isn't any stronger or weaker than they were and Texas is much improved esspecially now that McCoy has solidified himself as one of the top QB's in the nation....

I still don't see UT making the title game and I won't hold my breath, but ya it'd be nice...

I don't see Louisville losing and I maybe see them in the Nat'l Championship against either OSU or Mich...

If turning the ball over via fumbles, and not strips is being dominated, sure... but did you watch the same game i watched?

You already know my opinion on that, ha...

if one team fumbles and the other doesn't, that team for sure was dominated in the fumble category... holding on to the ball is like blocking, the team that blocks better is gunna win in most cases as well as the team that holds on to the ball better...

wish I would have gotten to see this game though, damn friends
