No doubt Wharton @ Needville is the game of the week in this district.

Good Luck Wharton players and coaches...

I can't really say anything, because I have not had a chance to watch Wharton play this year. Hopefully I won't get a chance in the playoffs either. It would be nice to call a few playoff games.

Wharton and Needville are both looking to make it into the p;ayoffs but Wharton can lose by 5 and still make it so good luck Tigers

Blue Jay's very disciplined defense will handle the Tigers one-dimensional attack. Needville offense has HUGE lineman tht should be able to manipulate the Wharton D for steady yardage and a 7-point win

what is 1 demensional about wharton?

QB has over 1000 passing and 1000 rushing?

since district has started the Tigers are leading the district in both rushing and passing.

I was about to ask the same thing. Wharton with Ansley & Shelton, etc. is anything but one-dimensional.

Wharton wins 31-17 & advances. Wharton has too much offense for the Jays. Needville stays home after great start to season.

I like Needville's chances at stoppin him on the scramble. The Jay Defense will stay home and not get sucked into over running a play (like Columbia did) they can force Ansley's hand. He is a real, real good runner and a fair passer, but he can be had...when forced to scramble around, more often than not, he will keep the ball himself instead of tossing an outlet pass.

should be a great game

Good luck on that!

Sweeny thought that too & it turned into a shoot-out. I don't think Needville has that kind of firepower other than Wilkerson. Wharton has too much offense for the Jays.

For Needville to win, it will take Wharton turnovers & Wilkerson going crazy & controlling the clock. I think Wharton wins but it should be a great game.

I'll take speed & quickness every time over size. In a perfect world you have both. Wharton is clearly the faster team.

I'll take the speed and quickness of Wharton also, Hopefully they play a great game and come out on top. Lets see if they can stop Ansley and Shelton like they say?

this is going to be a great game hopefully the Tiger D will step up and take care of Wilkerson, and the Tiger O will have the ball the majority of the time
