What's interesting is that Prosper was in the 2A title game last year and this year they are in the D1 playoffs in 3A.

Hutto, Palestine, and Carthage for sure.

There are a few first round matchups that I'd love to see. Canyon/Burkburnett, Abilene Wylie/Decatur, Gilmer/Liberty-Eylau, Prosper/Royse City, Gatesville/Hutto, Palestine/Carthage, and Bandera/LaVernia.

I'd actually put Hutto fourth. IMO, Palestine, Silsbee, and Bellville are all better.

Then again, that's just one man's opinion. The top five in R3, D1 (those four plus Diboll) could probably make the Quarterfinals in just about any other Region.

If Sweetwater does reach the 3rd rd. as does Snyder, it would
either be Sweetwater's choice of a neutral site (because Snyder
won the last coin toss) or another coin toss. I'm not sure what
the rules are.

The DI Predictions are so much different than the DII brackets. About 95% of the people picking the DI Bracket have picked Gilmer. There are several different teams predicted to win in DII by our members. Of course most of them are inconcievable homer picks like blackie picking Snyder but there isnt much concensus. I have a Sweetwater/Cuero final with the Gobblers finally getting that elusive ring this time.

I think the 04 season was stacked in both Div. 1 and 2. Cuero, wimberly, west columbia, sinton, decatur, palestine, WOS, and of course Abiline Wylie.

Div. II had jasper, gilmer, liberty hill, marlin, etc.
