I have begun to hear Heisman talk from various parts of the country, but not as much as this redshirt freshman deserves.

i read on mack-brown.com that he doesnt want him to be looked at for heisman. not yet anyway. he said quinn or smith are better suited for it this year, since they have accomplished so much more. i definately think he will win the heisman in 2 or 3 years. but i just dont see them voting him as the trophy winner as a freshman even though it is based on THIS season, and not seasons past. but it seems, that its based more on a single game close to the time of the final voting. some may also say something about an individual im not "allowed" to talk about. but yes in '04 a freshman did wind up placing second overall in the final vote. i however, dont care a freshman will never win the heisman. ill eat my words with pride if Colt Mccoy can become the first to do it.

If he keeps up this pace of play he should atleast be invited to the Heisman ceromoney, although I doubt he would win

If UT had a top 10 overall pass defense, I would be saying Aaron Ross for heisman.

Troy Smith didn't help his cause any by going 13 of 23, for only 108 yards, 0 TDs, 1 pick.

and his PE = 87.27 (ouch). While only squeeking out a 10 point win again Illinois.

I think Quinn only has a chance if they winout and he does good against USC.

This is a big down year for college football, 05 Texas/USC wouldn't be challenged by any of this years teams.

Actually Ohio State only beat Illinois by 7 points. It goes to show there may be great teams but there has never been a super team and I don't think there ever will.

Last years Texas and '04 USC were super teams. '01 Miami is the only team from the past that could hang with them.

College football is just down this year.

i just want an invite... i don't think that freshmen should win, but hey, if he plays better than the other candidates, i could see where i could pick him #1

i read the same mack brown article, and i do agree to an extent, but at least get this guy up to new york, especially if what he is doing is on par with the others.
