The showdown materialized but the shootout was one-sided. the mad bomber quarterback (kinne) went wild shooting bullets to five different cruise missiles (receivers). he's back, that is downtown curtis brown from injury, who scored 1st td within a minute of the game starting. tank 1 running back (johnson) had a field day running over panthers and leaving them in his wake. the hogs (offensive linemen) in the trenches gave kinne plenty of time to lob his bullets. the bulls (linebackers) layed some serious wood and left panthers laying on the carpet. the #2 bomber (stump godfrey) a freshman came in and continued the assault running for one, and chunking for another with 4 minutes left in game.
all the trash talk from springhill fizzled out; now there is more trash talk from gladewater, they cant wait for gilmer to bring that booty down there this friday. they are our little brothers to the south (13 mi); both schools have the same everything, band uniforms, football uniforms, u name it its the same. except bears and buckeyes) it should be interesting, if nothing else to go down there and shut them up.
