I am going to forward that story to my mother-in-law. She was a Doyle from Roby, Texas. (very close to Snyder) Her father was Milton Doyle and her mother was Grace Doyle. We gave my son the Doyle name. It is his middle name.
Thanks for sharing the story. West Texas families and west Texas football - both very strong.

Father-in-law is also from west Texas. From Hobbs (outside of Rotan) Last name Hardin.

I have family in Roby... or around there anyway... two of my cousins graduated from there, twins, class of about 20 or something...
