In Fridays semi finals' games UT beat Oklahoma State 2 - 0 and Colorado beat Texas A&M 3 - 2 in overtime. Both are considered upsets. I was especially surprised by the Lady Aggies losing. I am sure they will get invited to the post season playoffs and will do well. The loss just shows that the Big 12 has very good capable teams and tough competition.
The UT Horns did great and got revenge over Oklahoma State who had handed them their only loss during the season 1 - 0 and cost them the regular season championship. Freshman Emily Anderson shown below got one of the UT goals.
The final with Colorado is at 1 P.M. Sunday at Blossom Field in San Antonio. Winner gets automatically invited to post play but I am sure that all the participates except Baylor and Oklahoma will get invites. Good job Lady Horns.
