Mathis cheerleader fell during opening cheer on the field, apparently she began to feel worse as game proceded and in the 3rd qt., she was transported off by helicopter. I hope and prey all we turn out fine

Prayers that the Mathis cheerleader will be ok. :(

Great win for Sinton tonight and guarantees a spot in the playoffs. AP played tough though. Also my old alma mater Freer in 2A will get a playoff as they beat Banquette 26 to 7. This is good news but with the concern for the Mathis cheerleader the joy is hollow. :(
We in Freer went through a similar experience about 42 years ago. Prayers that this one will have a more happy outcome.
